Matthew J. Landfried, MD is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who joined the practice as a partner in 1990. He received his MD from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children and Hamot Medical Center both in Erie, PA. He is a member of the AMA, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, NYS Medical Society and WNY Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Landfried is on the medical staff at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, NY where he is Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Landfried is a general orthopaedist with subspeciality certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He has worked with athletes of all ages, skill levels and sports. Dr. Landfried was on medical staff of the Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Club from 1994 – 2006 and works with the Batavia Muckdogs. He provides medical coverage for the Batavia High School teams, Notre Dame High School teams and GCC teams. Dr. Landfried is also a coach for the Batavia High School Lacrosse team.
Brian D. Stendts, RPA
Brian received his PA degree from SUNY Stony Brook 1986. He also holds a BS in Biology from Florida State University. Prior to joining Dr. Landfried at GOSM in 2008, much of Brian’s work experience was in hospital emergency departments and urgent care. Brian was honorably discharged from the United States Navy with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class in 1976.
Brian lives in Batavia with his wife and three children.
Frederick L. (Chip) Wagner, RPA-C.
Frederick (Chip) Wagner, RPA-c graduated from Gannon University with a Bachelor of Science, Physician Assistant in 1991. He moved to Batavia in 1992 from Meadville, PA when he joined Dr. Matthew Landfried. Chip is NCCPA board certified in both surgery and primary care medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and was awarded his Eagle Scout in 1985).
Chip lives in Batavia with his wife and 4 children.
Allison Fout, RPA-c is a certified physician assistant. She graduated from Daemen College in 2005 with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and also holds a Bachelor Degree in Sports Medicine from Mercyhurst College. Having spent 7 years with a Private Practice Orthopaedic Group in Buffalo, Allison joined Dr. Matthew Landfried at Genesee Orthopaedics in January 2013. Allison is NCCPA board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
Allison lives in Lockport, NY with her husband and 2 sons.
